JavaScript Console.log

Coding is not as easy as just coding and everything working out. The majority of coding is problem-solving. So, of course, I ran into some errors in my code.

Today was about studying the developer tools in google to console log Javascript code more effectively. I watched videos on about debugging in javascript, looked at the Google chrome developer tool documentation, and watched a Traversity media developer tools video as well for more examples.
For some reason, my classList was being read as null even though the proper id class was in my HTML file.

Debugging is always the long part of coding. Even though sometimes I am stuck for hours on an error, I know that it is just a learning experience. Just when I was getting comfortable with debugging in CSS and HTML, the same painful learning curve will need to happen again in the javascript console.
