Hey coders today, I finally deployed two of my projects on the internet with heroku. Heroku provides a free hosting service to deploy your website. However, it doesn’t take only HTML & CSS files for deployment.

Even though my projects were static html files I was able to upload them by tricking heroku that my HTML file was a php file. A simple trick to do this was to create a php file and reroute it to read my index.html file. For my next project I created a node.js server to deploy my files.

This was a huge win today though hosting on heroku for free. The goal was to have an actual website for employers to see my work and not just an image on my portfolio, while saving money on hosting services.

Here are my websites.
